We met Sunday August 18, 1996 at a Church Pool Party!! Ten years ago on August the 18th we met, we talked, we talked some more, we setup a date, went out to dinner, spent the night together (and no, nothing happened), spent the entire next day together and fell in love. That first date, that lasted 36 hours, was incredible. There wasn't a moment during the time we spent together that I thought to myself (you have got to give me some space), it was truly a life changing experience. And ten years later it continues to be exciting and fresh each day. We still talk and talk some more, but most importantly, we laugh together and genuinely enjoy each others company. Yes, we have our time to ourselves and that is an important part of our relationship as well. |
